Q1. How accurate is AI image-based expense entry?
Recognition results vary depending on photo clarity, receipt format (digital / printed / handwritten), and language. We recommend confirming important amounts manually — treat AI as a "draft generator" that saves typing, not as an authoritative source.
Q2. How does AI pick the right category?
Mr.Splitter uses the categories enabled in your group plus the input content. For example, "lunch 350" goes to "Food" and "Uber 280" goes to "Transport". You can edit the category in the confirmation step.
Q3. How do I assign specific people to split with using natural language?
Just name them in the message — e.g. "movie tickets 1200 me and Alex", "iced latte 150 my treat". AI tries to recognize the payer/split relationship and produces a draft for you to confirm.
Q4. Is AI tracking free?
The free tier includes a daily quota (sufficient for normal use). Pro unlocks unlimited usage and higher recognition priority. Basic manual tracking is unaffected.
